The Voyagers feat. Dorrey Lyles

Thu 05. Dec 2024 / 20.00 o'clock
Kurhaus Baden-Baden • Runder Saal
Rhythm & Blues

Tickets: €26 (club seating, free choice of seats). 88 € combined ticket when booking all Rhythm & Blues dates in 2024. Tickets are available online and at advance ticket offices.

The Rhythm & Blues event series at the Kurhaus Baden-Baden is no longer an insider tip, but has become a permanent institution in the Baden-Baden Events program over the past 20 years. Its artistic director and drummer of the band The Voyagers, Ralf Heinrich, invites soloists to every concert. This makes every evening of the blues series a unique musical experience.

Tonight's guest: Dorrey Lyles. Dorrey is an American singer who has her musical roots in gospel. She has performed with various gospel choirs since her childhood and later toured the world with the world-famous Harlem Gospel Singers, among others. One of the highlights of her career was a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York together with Oleta Adams and James Ingram. Dorrey has appeared in various musical productions, such as the musical Footloose. Since 2012 she has been part of the famous duo The Weather Girls with their worldwide hit "It's raining men". Dorrey's performances are a burst of pure energy. Whether she is singing stylish ballads or grooving soul tracks, she always inspires her audience.
