It all starts with the question: How do I do this? We take on the world with insatiable curiosity. An inner drive moves us to try things out, to test things out, to explore boundaries. We try to walk, to talk, to interact with the world. But we rarely succeed at the first attempt. We fall down. So we pick ourselves up again and try again! By trying what we can't do, we find out what we can. Trying means being brave enough to start and allowing ourselves to fail along the way. With the certainty of being allowed to fail, we give ourselves the assurance that we can succeed. Every failure is a new experience, every mistake is another discovery. Failure challenges us, allows us to become creative and grow. But how do we practice the courage to fail and how do we deal with disappointment when something doesn't work out?

For the youngest members of the audience, choreographer Ceren Oran and the Junges LTT ensemble have developed a poetic movement piece about failure or 10,000 ways that didn't work. With playfulness and a thirst for discovery, they explore the risk of trying things out and dare to challenge themselves and dream dreams. Ceren Oran works internationally as a dancer and choreographer and has been developing dance theater performances for young audiences since 2010. Her works have been performed worldwide and invited to numerous festivals.
