Music and Conversations at the Kurhaus Baden-Baden
Marc Marshall & Friends combines concerts and personal conversations into an evening that takes on a new form every year. Marc Marshall welcomes artists from various genres, talks with them about their work and experiences, and shares the stage with them. Duets, new arrangements, and spontaneous musical encounters are just as much a part of the concept as the stories behind the music.
Nina Proll and Tobias Künzel as guests
In 2026, Marc Marshall will welcome Austrian actress and singer Nina Proll, as well as Tobias Künzel, singer, songwriter, and founding member of the band Die Prinzen.
Nina Proll is known from film and television, including the series “Vorstadtweiber.” In addition to her work as an actress, she performs on stage as a singer, blending chanson and pop in her music.
Tobias Künzel has been the singer and songwriter for the band Die Prinzen since the early 1990s. The band’s well-known songs include “Alles nur geklaut,” “Küssen verboten,” and “Mann im Mond.”
A program created exclusively for this evening
Marc Marshall hosts the evening, engages in conversation with his guests, and shares the stage with them. They are accompanied musically by a large band led by saxophonist and arranger Frank Lauber, as well as by the Chapelle Quartet. The program spans pop, chanson, soul, jazz, and classical music, leaving room for collaborative pieces and surprising combinations.
Since 2022, guests on Marc Marshall & Friends have included Albrecht Mayer, Cassandra Steen, Anna Depenbusch, Olga Scheps, Christian Friedel, Ralph Morgenstern, and Raphaela Gromes.
The Bénazetsaal as the Setting
In the Bénazetsaal of the Kurhaus Baden-Baden, Marc Marshall, his guests, band, and string quartet come together. Together, they create a musical ensemble tailored specifically for this evening.
